I Think I'm Going To Be On TV
25 April 2006Somehow I have wrangled myself in for this, which is a shame seeing how I don’t actually want to be on TV. How embarrassing.
Before I left New Zealand, I gave my computer to my parents. Apparently the power supply failed so my parents took it in to be fixed. Over one year ago. I thought I’d be nice and call the guy and try to get it back, but I got the same runaround as my parents. So being the helpful daughter I am, I called the Citizens Advice Bureau for some information. It turns out he is well-known for being completely dodgy and that a consumer programme called Fair Go were planning on doing a story about him. So of course, I emailed them to let them know that there was another person he’d ripped off and now they are coming round with a camera on Thursday and my parents want nothing to do with it.
Fuck you, PC 2000 Plus from Upper Hutt. Why are you making me do this?!

hell yeah, ani! you stick it to em! your parents may not want any part of it, but just think of how they’ll react once they either get it back, get compensation, or see him cry on tv?
You should have a deep look at the current can-dos of NZ TV. If too much cussin’ is cut out you loose message.
about a two years ago my friend worked for that dodgy guy at pc2000, while she was working one day she found thousands of child porn images hidden in his personal computer, she was horrified and informed the cops and as far as i know theres an on going investigation, dodgy farkwitt!!

Well, the interview is over now. It’s going to be on TV this Wednesday. Watch out for me looking like a zombie with darty eyes.
I’ve found out that he was actually investigated for kiddy porn, but apparently it was on a machine that someone brought in so they couldn’t prove who actually put it there (although, all they’d need to do is look at the file date – they obviously don’t have this kind of technology in New Zealand).
