Newsvine
11 February 2006Newsvine is a new website that lets you read, write, and seed news. You can read articles posted directly from media organisations, as well as articles seeded by users. You can also write your own column, which will also generate revenue for yourself through advertisements once it is out of beta.
It’s all very web 2.0, so read their introduction to Newsvine for more information and to fully understand what it’s about. I didn’t see the point when I first signed up, but now I rather like it!
Until it is out of beta, new accounts are only available by invite. I have 20 spare, so post in the comments if you want one!
